How to Convert a Gas Range

At some point in during the life of your gas range, you may need to convert from LP to natural gas or vice versa. This page explains how to do that.

Everything you need to do is illustrated in these pictures: Page 1 and Page 2. Here's a quick summary:

1. Flip cap on regulator or remove cap and flip piece under cap to LP It should be marked.
2. Turn gas to each top burner down via burner valve adjustment nut. Turn until yellow tips on burner go away and you have a nice blue flame.
3. Remove broiler pan and adjust oven burner via nut on safety valve - again adjust burner until the the yellow goes away and you have a nice blue flame.
