Hey, Samurai Repairman!

Been reading your site off and on with interest. Sounds like a great place to live, New London. I had "lumbar spinal stenosis" bad and was all set to have surgery. Had the shooting pains down my leg and all. Just before I went to my buddy the Chiro for a last check. He said, "you know the surgery is with an electric saw type thing. The surgeon wears a mask to keep the bone chips out of his eyes as he cuts away on your spine!" Whoa! Then they put screws in your spine to set everything. More or less this was what he was telling me and it freaked me out. Then he suggested that I get the back support belt they sell in Home Depot and other places and wear it day and night for one month to see what happens. I did, it worked. I'm telling you I could not sleep at night, walk a long ways, play sports, hike, entertain my lady well at night, anything! Now I play tennis three times a week. Fish, hike, my lady is way happy now because I'm back in action!! and plenty of other things. I think you have seen these belts? They're black with velcrow to tighten and hold it in place. Has suspenders, but I cut those off. I would wear it all day under my shirt and sleep in it too. Worked for me, so maybe give it a shot.
