Here’s yet another reason why the Samurai loves Whirlpool: Service Matters Online. This ain’t no fluff site, this is hard core technical reference material directly from Whirlpool Corporation for Whirlpool owners. Kenmore appliances with model numbers beginning with 106, 110, 562, 665, and 198 are also manufactured by Whirlpool so this same information applies. Merry Christmas!

Whirlpool will be locking up their Service mattters online to all, unless you pay a fee yearly. Samuri o great one, you mat end up being the last great hope for the people!
Not “will be” — they already have; as of Oct. 1, 2010, you have to pay $500/year to access Whirlpool’s ServiceMatters site. But don’t you fret none– we have an excellent archive and can still probably get you what you need as an Apprentice: http://apprentice.applianceguru.com
