Maytag Atlantis Washer: No Cold Water in Any Temperature Setting

The unsuspecting neophyte may be tempted to shotgun this one and just replace the water inlet valve, hoping to get lucky. And you just might get lucky IF your valve has the built-in thermistor AND the thermistor is bad.
