I have an ancient GE Filter-Flo washer that just died. Since GE discontinued the Filter-Flo system of lint trapping over a decade ago, what new washer can I purchase that does as good a job as the Filter-Flo at keeping lint off my clothes??? Thanks. – Nunya
What I say unto you I say unto all: buy a horizontal-axis washer. Numerous advantages over their barbaric vertical-axis (“top-loader”) cousins. More information here.
Is there anything that can be put in a regular front loading washer that traps lint and animal hair? I try to hang everything outside so I don’t use my dryer that does a pretty good job at delinting. I bought these fuzzy little balls off the web that are a total scam. I would hate to have to skin my cat. Thanks.
If you have items that are very linty or hairy, try either shaking them out outside or running them through a fluff cycle in the dryer prior ton washing them.
