No Child Left Unmedicated

If you want national (socialist) healthcare, then you trust the government with your medical care. If you send your kids to government school, then you trust the government to educate your kids. I personnally, don't trust the government any farther than I can throw them, and that goes for Republican or Democrat administrations. Not being a person of prejudice, I dis-trust them both equally. To me, anyone who does all they can to be the most powerful person in the world does not have my best interests at heart. What do they say about absolute power?
All that being said, I'm curious as to why an idea, put forth by Conservative Republican President G. W. Bush and backed by the Conservative led drug industry is labled a "liberal" idea?
