If you're going to be tearing an appliance apart, you might want a parts breakdown diagram to help you see how it comes apart and goes back together. You can get 'em here. Just enter your brand, type of appliance and model number and you'll go a parts list with various breakdown diagrams for your appliance. Oh, and you can order the parts while you're there.

It has a variety of features, such as a message board, photo album, chat room, links, etc., making it a good venue for disseminating appliance repair wisdom.
